Founded in 1970, the educational approach at the American Intercontinental University (AIU) is designed keeping in mind the challenges and realities of the present day life. Associate Degree level courses at AIU
School of Business
In the School of Business at AIU, courses are offered for Associate programs. The course is designed to help students prepare for everything related to the basics of business and management. Specialized knowledge and skills required in various types of business related work are offered in these programs. The courses offered in the School of Business are:
- Associate of Arts in Business Administration (AABA)
- Associate of Arts in Business Administration (AABA): Concentration in Criminal Justice
- Associate of Arts in Business Administration (AABA): Concentration in Information Systems

School of Criminal Justice
The School of Criminal Justice at the university offers Associate programs, which are specially designed for those who have an interest in legal matters including law enforcement, court and corrections. There is only one Associate program and it is Associate of Science in Criminal Justice (ASCJ).
School of Design
The School of Design is perfect for those are artistically inclined and are looking to specialize in this field. The only course available at the Associate degree level in the School of Deign is Associate of Arts in Visual Communication (AA).
