Morgan State University Information

 

The major Morgan State University Information consists of its history of establishment. The institution was founded and chartered in 1867 as the Centenary Biblical Institute. It was built in its present site in 1890. from 1890 to 1938 it was known as Morgan college. It became a public college in 1939 and was renamed as Morgan State College. In 1975, the college was renamed Morgan State University by the state legislator . The Morgan State University Information reflects its expended mission and scope. This is a coeducational institution and is located in a residential section of Baltimore, Maryland. The compact campus of twenty-nine academic buildings, service facilities and residence hall covers an area of more than 143 acres.

The university offers both graduate and undergraduate program, but the recent emphasis on urban orientation. This emphasis is particularly incorporated in the graduate program. The master of arts degree is granted in subjects like: African-American studies, economics, mathematics, English, history, international studies, music, sociology, and teaching.

  • Management.

The McKeldin center of Morgan State University Information is often called the living room of the campus. The university is a member institution of several consortia including the National Student Exchange. The university has the advantage of being located in the proximity of suburban life and urban center.

have specialized research facilities. The modern Soper Library has more than 660,000 volumes of work including works in special collections. One such collection includes books in Africa, with an emphasis on sub-saharan Africa.
