Online GMAT Courses assist the students in preparing for the exam as per their convenience. GMAT Test Format:

Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is common entrance tests for those who want to pursue MBA or other similar programs in foreign universities mainly in US and UK. The fee is generally around US $250. The test measures the analytical, verbal and mathematical ability of a candidate. The paper is divided into three sections, namely: verbal ability section; quantitative section and the analytical writing assessment. The total score is 800 and takes around four hours for completion. 
 
  • The first section of the paper is Analytical Writing Assessment. This section of the paper comprises of two essays. The time allotted for the essay is 30 minutes each and is graded in a scale of 0-6. The essays are evaluated by two readers. One of the readers is a computer program called IntelliMetric, while the other is a human reader. In case scores allotted by both the readers have more than one point difference then a third reader is called. The third reader is also human. 
  • The second section, verbal ability section is designed to evaluate the language competency of the candidates appearing in the exam. The section consists of set of questions that cover sentence correction, comprehension reading and critical reasoning. There are 41 multiple questions with a time limit of 75 minutes. The section carries point from 0-51. Through the three sets of questions the candidates are evaluated in respect to their proficiency in American English, logical thinking and the ability to analyze a comprehension. 
  • In the third section, quantitative section the total number of questions is 37 and the points allotted are 0-51. The questions are multiple choice questions and are divided into two sections. The first section is problem solving which comprises of question from arithmetic, elementary geometry and basic algebra. These questions must be answered within a time limit of 75 minutes. The second section is data sufficiency and it tests the ability of the candidate in reasoning.
