Last Date for Registration for 2012 session :

For 2012 Online Programs, registrations can be done in the month of December in the current tuition fees, which is $950.
However, from next year onwards registration for online courses would be possible, only within the increased tuition fees structure which will be $1095.

Education Program for Gifted Youth (EPGY) Online High School (OHS)

To reach out to more students and professionals who intend to study from Stanford but are restricted either by prohibitive distances to the University or by other commitments, Stanford University Online Courses have started. Through advanced technology, rigorous academics, and the resources available at Stanford University, the Education Program for Gifted Youth Online High School offers students located anywhere on the face of the planet an education opportunity ideally suited to their needs. The EPGY OHS is a three-year diploma offering online independent high school for gifted students.

In designing this online high school, the authorities at Stanford University took care to ensure that the following kinds of students could be accommodated:

  • A 15-year-old sophomore looking for a thorough academic program but not able to find one locally
  • A 13-year-old who has been accelerated across the board by one or more years and needs an academic program that allows continued and further acceleration
  • A 13-year-old who is several years ahead in any one subject area  but is otherwise at par with a typical 8th grader
  • A 17-year-old happy with his or her current school but looking for advanced coursework in the fields of humanities
